My heartfelt gratitude to YOU for once again allowing me to come into your busy lives!

I thank God for keeping YOU throughout 2016.

I thank Him for bringing YOU through each trial and test!

I’m praying for YOU!

I pray for the one seeking employment:

God will fill YOU with His Spirit like He did Bezalel. (Exod 35: 30-35)

YOU will receive godly wisdom and be perfected in the skills YOU need to be employed.

I pray for the one seeking job promotion:

God who has the power, will promote YOU in your place of work. (Ps 75: 4-7)

Religion doesn’t woo me and Christianity doesn’t thrill me.

Notwithstanding, there is one gift I want to open:

Unfortunately, her sons will be sold as slaves to pay for her husband’s debts.

Distraught, she speaks to the prophet Elisha about her plight and he asks:

“What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?”

The widow replies that she has nothing but a jar of oil.

Elisha tells her to borrow as many vessels as she can from her neighbours.

She pours the oil into each vessel until there is none left.

Consequently, the oil stops flowing.

Did the source dry up?

I TRUST IN YOUR UNFAILING LOVE

In every relationship, each partner has something good to offer.

Actually, more than that, what’s on the table is something benefical to the other.

However, no matter the relationship, trust is the foundation.

When it comes to our relationship with God, this question may come to mind:

What do I give to the One who has everything?

What does God really want from us?

God needs us to reciprocate the love He showed and continues to show us.

Loving Him – according to His standard, is measured through obedience.

That said, God isn’t a dictator that demands our obedience!Read more
